👋 Welcome to Signum. Take a few minutes of your precious time and start here. Firstly,note that there has been a rebranding of Burstcoin into Signum.
On April 24th 2021 the Signum hard fork was activated at block height 875 500. With this fork Signum got a new consensus called "Proof of Commitment" or POC+ in short. This is a hybrid method combining Proof of Capacity (POC) and Proof of Stake (POS) into a new sustainable and secure algorithm. Since then, Burstcoin has been rebranded into Signum.
The rebranding does not affect anyone holding Burst, mining Burst, transacting Burst, trading Burst etc. BURST coin = SIGNUM coin.
