👋 Welcome to Signum. Take a few minutes of your precious time and start here. Firstly, an attempt to clear up the ongoing rebranding of Burstcoin into Signum.
On April 24th 2021 the Signum hard fork was activated at block height 875500. With this fork Burstcoin got a new consensus called "Proof of Commitment" or POC+ in short. POC+ is a hybrid method combining Proof of Capacity (POC) and Proof of Stake (POS) into a new sustainable and secure algorithm. Since then, Burstcoin has been rebranded into Signum.
The rebranding does not affect anyone holding Burst, mining Burst, transacting Burst, trading Burst etc. BURST coin = SIGNUM coin.
